The Position:
This position requires a motivated and energetic individual who is detail oriented with the ability to multitask. This individual should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently.

Principal Areas of Focus:
As the company bookkeeper you will oversee the day to day operations and work in concert with our corporate accounting firm.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle day to day accounting and maintain the general ledger
• Produce monthly reports including reconciliations, financial statements, and cash flow projections
• Maintain organizational revenue/expense reports and balance sheets
• Facilitate A/P vendor invoice processing and payments as needed
• All functions relating to Payroll
• Track and book all loans and leases
• Process monthly and annual government tax reporting and remittances
• Monitor and track financial information, compliant with standards and regulations
• Perform all bank tasks
• Other duties and special projects as necessary

The Individual:
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and processes
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communicative skills
• Proficient in QuikBooks and MS Excel
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Experience with financial statements, financial analysis a plus

Qualifications:
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Avenue A Advertising, a full-service marketing agency in Owen Sound, is seeking a full-time, on-site, production-oriented Account Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will serve as the conduit between Avenue A and various full- service clients. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing several full-service client accounts as well as contributing to the writing, designing and publishing of various marketing content— including but not limited to organic social media, paid social media, email marketing and more. As a valuable
member of the Avenue A team, you will play a large part in client retention and will also assist with generating new business as needed.

This is a junior position and as such, the successful candidate can expect to grow, learn and be supported by various senior team members as required.

Responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of full-service clients, ensuring client needs are always met
• Communicating with clients on a regular basis
• Answering incoming client questions and project requests and assigning work to the appropriate team members
• Checking the status of tasks within the creative team and verifying the jobs will be complete on time
• Reviewing and presenting concepts/layouts/copy to the client for approval
• Communicating the client’s feedback to the creative team and discussing the next steps in the campaign
• Assisting with the writing, designing and publishing of various marketing content as needed
• Assisting with Google Advertising initiatives as needed

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:
• Have a post-secondary education focused in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, business or other relevant fields.
• Account management experience is considered an asset but not required
• Have a passion for or interest in advertising, marketing and/or graphic design
• Be motivated to stay up-to-date on the latest creative strategies, techniques and technologies
• Possess excellent written communication, computer and interpersonal skills
• Be punctual, dedicated and a great multi-tasker
• Enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment
• Be familiar with or willing to increase their knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign), Canva and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience with WordPress and Google Advertising is considered an asset.

You will be responsible for managing multiple client accounts at one time, and as the main point of contact between each client and Avenue A, it will be your duty to ensure the client’s needs and goals are being met on every project. You will also be
responsible for managing client presentations, client budgets and all other communications related to your assigned client list.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing monthly marketing plans based on approved strategies and budgets
• Checking the status of each client’s job(s) within the creative team and verifying the jobs will be complete on time
• Reviewing and presenting creative to the client for approval
• Communicating the client’s feedback to the creative team and discussing next steps
• Participating in and providing guidance in the creation of client marketing presentations

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:
• Have a post-secondary education in broadcasting, advertising, marketing or equivalent
• Have a minimum of 2 years of customer service, sales or advertising/marketing experience
• Be familiar with, or willing to increase their knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, WordPress, etc.)
• Be detail-oriented, possess strong customer service and organizational skills, and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Possess excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills
• Be effective at managing multiple deadlines at one time and be able to prioritize projects based on urgency
• Be a team player who follows instructions and eager to learn and improve
• Work well under pressure in a fun and fast-paced environment
• Previous advertising agency, audio and video production, Adobe Creative Suite (Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.), social media marketing and/or Google advertising experience is considered an asset.
